"Clinicians in Court" is a practical guide for psychologists, social workers, counselors, and other mental health practitioners who may be participating in court or other legal proceedings. This book is available from Guilford Press or Amazon. A new edition will be available in January 2024.
Dr. Barsky has served as a forensic consultant in professional malpractice cases. He has also acted as a mediator in family law and professional ethics cases. Dr. Barsky chaired a committee that revised the National Association of Social Workers "Code of Ethics" and was a member of a national committee that developed the "Standards on Technology and Social Work Practice" [see https://www.socialworkers.org/About/Ethics/Code-of-Ethics ].

The Instructor's Manual includes suggestions for how to use this textbook for various types of courses, as well as teaching strategies, exercises, and test questions for each chapter.
